Hello, my name is Tony and I'm an amateur photographer. The term amateur gets a bad rap these days, but it's a label that I gladly wear. You see the word "amateur" up until the mid 1800's meant that you were a lover of something. And I am definitely an amateur photographer in that sense. The term eventually took on the meaning that you didn't practice it for profit, and also took on the added stigma that your work wasn't as good as a "professional". So on these pages you'll find a sampling of my photography. You can judge which meaning of amateur you apply to it.
